Build a city for yourself! A workshop project for a revolutionary future
Are you an art, design or architecture enthusiast? Or are you already active in these fields? Then you’ve come to the right place. Become part of a great community, embark on a transformative journey and broaden your horizons in the process. With the help of cutting-edge technologies, you will bring your own vision of the future to life. You will make the invisible visible and create a reality that goes beyond your imagination.
The project of the Kunstverein Kunsthalle Hannover and the artist VIRA DG is divided into two different course units. In August, you will learn the basics of AR (augmented reality) and AI (artificial intelligence) online via Zoom. You will learn how to use creative programmes and become fit for the real world.
By September, you will be so well trained that you will be able to apply what you have learnt. Now you can design your own 3D sculptures and architectural objects and conceptualise them so that they can be placed virtually anywhere.
The best thing is that your work will be visible, because the Kunstverein Kunsthalle Hannover will be exhibiting it! QR codes will be shown as part of the exhibition Lichtzeit-Labor II in the city centre of Hanover as well as in the Kunsthalle Faust. Visitors can use them to access, view and even use your objects. All works will be presented digitally on a website set up especially for the project. Publication in the local media is also planned.
The courses will be held in English, but you will receive support in German. All you need is a laptop and your smartphone or tablet.
