Kunstverein Kunsthalle Hannover e.V.
The Kunstverein Kunsthalle Hannover, hereinafter referred to as “KV KH Hannover”, was founded in 2013 as a non-profit association for the promotion of art and culture.
KV KH Hannover sees itself as a supra-regional platform for dialogue, with an annual program oriented towards current artistic discourse, primarily involving the Lower Saxony art scene. The strengthening of the art scene as well as the internal and international networking are in the center of the activities.
Located in the Kunsthalle Faust of the cultural center of the same name, the program focuses on experimental, spatial aspects, conceptual approaches, and their multimedia orientation.
Hanover’s studio communities, young and established artists from Lower Saxony and Hanover’s partner cities benefit from the large and flexible exhibition hall alongside internationally renowned artists.
The integration in international networks and cooperations such as biennials and fairs as well as in exchange projects within the framework of Hanover’s city partnerships enable an up-to-date exchange of art strategies in each case.
The unique selling point is the additional presentation of artists from Lower Saxony on a national and international level, which gives the association a mediating role in the positive external perception of the city and region of Hanover as well as the state of Lower Saxony.
