Klangkörper

Workshop & Performance with Mario D. Alvarado

What happens when our body becomes an instrument? In the ‘Klangkörper’ workshop, body movements, brain activity, heart rate and breathing are translated into sounds and visual effects in real time using digital technologies and biofeedback sensors.

Participants discover how their bodies become instruments, experiment with the resulting sounds and record them on tablets. In doing so, they explore the interplay between body, sound and technology, and use their own sounds to create individual compositions and sound collages.
